Creek Week, a 30-year tradition in Sacramento County, is no longer an annual spring event.

Creek Week is now any week because volunteers help our creeks by working on their own or joining other community efforts.

Neighborhoods, creeks, and parks are potential opportunities for Random Acts of Clean-up

Activities

Creek Week Activities can be a visit to one of our region’s many public open space areas any day or time you choose. See some suggestions below.

Effie Yeaw Nature Center by the American River.

Sacramento Valley Conservancy by the Sacramento River, SMUD Nature Preserve near Rancho Seco, Deer Creek Hills and more. (Click on the “Visit” menu button.)

2023 Creek Sponsors and Partners

Please Thank Creek Sponsors!

Creek Sponsors contribute money to Sacramento Area Creeks Council. These donations allow us to purchase materials needed by  individuals and groups to conduct their clean-up. We also recognize as supporters those entities who conduct or help with waterway clean-ups in our region. We consider them partners in our mission. Please join us in thanking our 2023 Creek Sponsors and Partners.

Our Primary Partner is Sacramento Picks It UP!
