If you would like to monitor water quality on your own, World Water Monitoring Challenge kits are available for loan. When you register to volunteer for any clean-up site, in the registration comment section just say that “I want the water monitoring option.” Water monitoring locations are limited by the number of monitoring kits we have.
If you would like training on the use of these kits, please say “I would like training”. A training date will be set for the Saturday before the Clean Up and Water Quality Monitoring day. Please contact Bill at the email address below to register for this training. Professionals in water quality monitoring also will be available at the training to show you their equipment and how it is used. Please let us know if you are interested in professional assistance at your site on monitoring/clean-up day and we will try to set you up with one.
If you have any questions, please contact Bill at 916 601-9954 or email [email protected]
We ask that all volunteers please complete and bring our volunteer waiver to give to their site leaders.
Review the checklist to the left to be prepared against the natural and man-made elements. Please come prepared to get a little muddy.
You have our word that your contact information will not be shared with any outside companies or vendors. Your email will be entered into our list so that you will receive future Creek Week announcements.
